Overview

Le Soléal is a small, French-flagged luxury expedition ship and the third of Ponant's Le Boréal-class yachts, carrying just 264 guests in an intimate, contemporary style. Built by Fincantieri and in service since 2013, she is designed for polar and remote-region voyages and made history as the first French commercial vessel to transit the Northwest Passage. Her shallow draught and yacht-like scale let her reach ports and anchorages that larger ships cannot.
