Overview
Hanseatic Spirit is the third and final vessel in Hapag-Lloyd Cruises' trio of luxury expedition ships, joining sisters Hanseatic Nature and Hanseatic Inspiration in service in 2021. Built to PC6 polar ice class with an ice-strengthened hull, she blends genuine expedition capability with five-star comfort, carrying up to 16 Zodiacs for landings in the world's most remote regions. Signature touches include extendable glass-bottomed balconies and a retractable glass-fronted bow, giving guests dramatic close-up views of polar ice, coastlines and wildlife; passenger numbers are capped near 199 on polar voyages and up to 230 elsewhere.
