Overview

Greg Mortimer is a purpose-built polar expedition ship that entered service in 2019 as the first vessel of SunStone's Infinity class and the first cruise ship to feature Ulstein's patented inverted X-BOW, which slices through swell to soften motion in rough seas such as the Drake Passage. Named after the pioneering Australian mountaineer and Aurora Expeditions co-founder Greg Mortimer, the ice-strengthened ship carries around 130 guests to Antarctica, the Arctic and other remote regions, with a fleet of Zodiacs, sea-level launching platforms and forward observation decks. She pairs small-ship intimacy with modern engineering aimed at responsible, immersive expedition travel.
