Overview

Celebrity Solstice is the first ship of Celebrity's six-vessel Solstice class and, at nearly 122,000 GT, was the largest cruise ship built in Germany at her 2008 debut. She introduced signature features still associated with the line: a real-grass Lawn Club on the top deck, a working glassblowing studio and a soaring atrium. She was the industry's first cruise ship named by a female scientist, oceanographer Dr. Sharon L. Smith. She sails under the Maltese flag and deploys seasonally to Australia and New Zealand.
