Overview

Artania is an elegant mid-sized cruise ship operated by German line Phoenix Reisen, known for her all-outside-cabin layout and stately, understated character. Built in 1984 as Royal Princess and famously christened by Diana, Princess of Wales, she later sailed for P&O Cruises as Artemis before joining Phoenix in 2011. Successive Lloyd Werft refits, including added balconies and new engines, keep the classic vessel comfortable for the long-haul world itineraries she is known for.
