Overview
Amera is one of the smaller, more traditional ships in Germany's Phoenix Reisen fleet, prized for a classic ocean-liner feel and an intimate onboard atmosphere. Launched in 1988 as the acclaimed Royal Viking Sun, she later sailed as Seabourn Sun and Holland America's Prinsendam before joining Phoenix in 2019. Her modest size and low draught let her reach ports and waterways that larger vessels cannot, making her a favourite for long, destination-rich world voyages.
